Mt. Makalu (8463 m) is the fifth highest peak in the world. Makalu lies in the Mahalangur Himalayan Range of Nepal and it is considered as one of the best mountain to climb. The first attempt to Makalu was approached by the American expedition team in 1954 but was unable to reach the summit. Following year in the spring, 3 members of the French expedition team successfully summitted and became the first to stand on top of Makalu.

Cost includes:

- All necessary transportation in Kathmandu for members and equipments

- Hotel in Kathmandu for 6 nights in a normal tourist standard hotel including b/f

- Flight, Kathmandu – Tumlingtar – Kathmandu for climbers and staff

- Airport tax for Tumlingtar flights

- Makalu National Park fee

- Makalu Climbing Permit fee for climbers (sharing with group)

- Liaison Officer's fee

- Bus transportation for equipments and staff from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar and back

- All necessary porters for carrying food, kitchen and dining equipments and climbing equipments from Tumlingtar to Base Camp and back

- Full service Camping trekking

- All kitchen and dining equipments, sleeping tents & mattresses, toilet tent and shower tent at base camp

- Professional Guide & Climbing Sherpa

- Professional cook and kitchen staff up to Base Camp, their equipment allowance and salary

- Insurance (including rescue) for all Nepali Staff
