Midnight Madness:  Stores open late! Holiday Sales! Santa Claus and Miss Washtenaw County will be roaming the sidewalks, along with various outdoor entertainers and performances, from 7-9pm. Check out the scheduled entertainment HERE.  15 % off at The Himalayan Bazaar.  The Yeti will be visiting our store and the colorful Kathmandu Rickshaw will be out front for a photo-op.  Open until Midnight.  The Himalayan Bazaar, 218 S. New Year's Eve Gourmet Dinner Trek:  Celebrate with Of Global Interest Adventure Travel tour company owners, Heather O’Neal and Pem Dorjee Sherpa, while on an invigorating 5-mile trek from their store, The Himalayan Bazaar on Main Street in downtown Ann Arbor, to the Arboretum, Island Park, Riverside Park and Kerrytown.  Bring an appetizer, main (or side) dish or dessert to share and beverages of your choice — plus water.  The last of three stops (appetizers, dinner, dessert) includes midnight bell ringing on the Kerrytown Chime.  Plates, forks and napkins are provided.  Dress appropriately and warmly!  Meet at 8:00 pm at The Himalayan Bazaar at 218 S.
